Coached by
Mustafa the Canadiens are the defending
Stanely cup champs with 4 Cups. The first cup
came after defeating Former Coach Samer
Jaffar in 2 Games. The second and third cups
came after defeating Hasek and the Buffalo
Sabres in 2 Games also. The Last cup in
recent history came after a 1-0 and 2-1 win
over Detroit coached by Amer Jaffar (Yes they
are brothers). The Candiens are number 1
Overall.
The New Jersey Devils
Although New Jersey never
won any cups, they managed to upset many
teams by defeating the Candiens twice in the
regular season and Detroit last season.
However their disappointing play in the
playoffs does not make them a contender to
win the cup. They are coached by Mohammad.
The Detoit Red Wings
One of the most improved
teams in the league are the Detroit Red Wings
now coached by Amer Jaffar. Their solid play
and hard checking style earned them the
respect of the other teams. They won the
Regular season in League #3 but failed to
make it to the finals after losing to Buffalo
in the Semi Finals. They improved in Season
#4 and were ranked 2nd in the Regular season.
Coach Amer Jafar led his team to a 3 game win
in the playoffs against New Jersey then
failed to beat the Canadiens in the finals,
losing in 2 Games. They could be the next
team winning the cup.
The Buffalo Sabres
The Buffalo Sabres managed
to be one of the toughest contenders to the
Candiens in the Final and to the other teams
after Hasek dominated the League in the
Regular season. However the team lacks the
skills and depend on the coordinate play and
Hasek in nets. They made it to the finals
twice however the road ends there when they
meet the Candiens. They were swept twice in 2
consecutive years but still managed to be one
of the elite teams. After banning the
Coordinate the Sabres held first place in the
Regular season but fell to the Candiens in
the Semi final in overtime.
